 The is my fifth time visiting my spot and not a lot had changed but you could tell it was almost winter. The temperature was notably colder, it was around 39 Fahrenheit that day. 





That day lasted form 7:18 am to 5:48pm. It was 10 hours and 30 minutes long. It was the 11th of November 2022 at 1:30pm



this is again the picture that I take at the same spot every time


. My spot hadn't changed too drastically it had just become much more gloomy, no more colorful leaves, the sky was really cloudy, the water was freezing and the water temperature had risen a little. There were no plants and critters seen of note, although not far from my spot I saw a dead rat but I didn't take a picture of it

    Any patterns in that color change/leaf fall? Where was the rat? Have you seen others?

   My 3rd field study took place the 13th of October 2022 at around 4:30pm.  That day it was around 46 degrees outside so a little chilly but really not bad. At the time when I went there it was pretty sunny but right when I got home there was a big thunderstorm. On the 13th the sun rose at 7:56am and it set at 7:04pm making the day last 11 hours and 10 minutes. I took a lot of picture of the leaves because they have really changed colors since the last time I came, and they will hopefully continue to do so as the field study progresses. This picture is of the few remaining leaves that were still green, the tree is overlooking the river right behind the bridge, and I took this picture because the sun was hitting the leaves just right and I thought it looked beautiful.  This picture is of one of the trees that is in the midst of transforming and it  looks stunning.
