visit #4

Image
This is my fourth field study visit, and it was a very fun one. The leaves have already all started to fall, but some of the trees are still holding on to their color, and some were even still in the process of changing. The average temperature when I went, so on the 30th of October, was around 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The length of the day was from  8:14 am to 6:36 pm and the daylight hours of the day was exactly 10 hours and 20 minutes. As usual this is my picture in the same spot as the other ones. There was a lot of water during this field study, and the area where I was, was completely flooded. There were leaves everywhere littering the ground, and from certain angles the sky looked dreadful. Nonetheless I found some very pretty spots that truly showcased the beauty of my spot. I went there at around 11am. the water from stream was even colder then last time.

At the time when I went there it was pretty sunny but right when I got home there was a big thunderstorm. On the 13th the sun rose at 7:56am and it set at 7:04pm making the day last 11 hours and 10 minutes. I took a lot of picture of the leaves because they have really changed colors since the last time I came, and they will hopefully continue to do so as the field study progresses. This picture is of the few remaining leaves that were still green, the tree is overlooking the river right behind the bridge, and I took this picture because the sun was hitting the leaves just right and I thought it looked beautiful.  This picture is of one of the trees that is in the midst of transforming and it  looks stunning. Some more pictures of the leaves and the bridge from afar. The water level had really rose a lot si...
